On March 2020, Ibis America, trusted Scooterise for their tailor made visit to the wonderful city of Thessaloniki. First time visiting Greece and Thessaloniki, Ibis’s partners wanted to see and taste the most of the largest city in North Greece. Leaving the hotel after a short vehicle demonstration, we visited the main city attractions starting with the famous White Tower. We wondered through the charming city streets and went through Aristotelous plaza to end up in the ancient Roman era forum of Roman Agora.
Moved on to enjoy Agios Demetrius Byzantine Church and its crypt, a unique architectural jewel of Byzantine architecture. We admired the UNESCO world heritage monuments of Arch of Galerius and Rotonda.
With the fun and easy to ride Electric Trikkes, Ibis corporate group zipped through the multicultural city landmarks and learned amazing historical facts from Scooterise professional guides. Also, the group got the chance to dive deep into the cities culinary scene with organized finger food stops in traditional shops and food markets to taste local and genuine Greek delicatessen. Early afternoon a wonderful journey came to an end, leaving us full of memories of the co-capital of Greece that we had the opportunity to discover in just a few hours with the most safe and modern way of Trikke driving.
